Long before The Adventures Of An Allergy Mummy/Just The Three Of Us existed I was an avid blog reader, the blogs I followed/follow inspired me to launch my own and it’s one of the best things I’ve ever done.
Below I have listed my favourite bloggers. Within these blogs I have found sanctuary. The power of writing is unbelievable and the ladies listed below are incredible. Some I’ve followed since I first became a mother, some I’ve followed since Theo was first diagnosed with multiple allergies and others I’ve only discovered recently, but all of them are truly brilliant!
Dilan And Me (pictured above) – Lauren’s outlook on motherhood and life is empowering, Myself and Lauren connected via the CMPA Support Facebook group and were astounded to discover we lived 2 minutes away from each other!
Last year she launched dilanandme.com where you’ll find some seriously powerful writing aswell as fabulous dairy and soya free shopping list.
Free From Farmhouse – One of my biggest inspirations when it comes to allergy/free from bloggers. Emma Amoscato is mother to two children with food allergies, her eldest, like Theo, also suffers with bad asthma. Emma’s recipes are all free from milk, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, sesame and garlic.
The Intolerant Gourmand – I have followed Nathalie’s blog for a few years now and her recipes and blog posts have been of tremendous benefit to me. Nathalie is a freelance free from recipe developer, food writer, consultant, trainer, reviewer and blogger who has recently qualified as an accredited Nutritional Therapist.
Swords & Snoodles – Becci blogs about the up’s and downs of being a stay at home mum primarily, but her posts on mental health are the ones that really strike a chord with me. Swords & Snoodles was one of the first blogs I ever properly followed and I’m so glad I did.
If you’re looking for posts that make you realise you aren’t alone, check her website out.
The Free From Fairy – A must read for delicious recipes and informative blog posts. Vicky is a mother of two who creates some amazing foods that are gluten and mainly dairy free. She has also just launched the world’s first wholegrain, rice free, gluten-free flour blend and is working on a self-raising blend. Head over to her website to read all about it!
