Updating Mia’s Spring Wardrobe With Monsoon At Debenhams.

If it’s pink, glittery and knee-length, you can pretty much guarantee Mia will be willing to wear it. She isn’t one for wearing trousers, never has been. In fact, she has not worn trousers at school for over two years. Instead she chooses to wear skirts and dresses with tights.

Recently the opportunity arose to update Mia’s spring wardrobe with a little help from the range of girl’s dresses at Monsoon at Debenhams. This opportunity was a dream come true for Mia and perfect timing as last week we celebrated her seventh birthday. We had great fun picking three beautiful dresses. You can see what we chose and why below – enjoy!

Our first pick was the Monsoon Pink ‘Saffie’ Dress pictured above. This dress is stunning and suits Mia perfectly. It has a beautiful floaty hemline making it perfect for warmer weather. The attention to detail is exquisite, the gorgeous seaside print including fruit and seahorses teamed with cage straps and easy fastening make it practical as well as pretty. It’s vibrant yet demure and we absolutely love it.

Our second pick was the Blue ‘Robyn’ dress. This off the shoulder dress is perfect for all occasions. I love the pink tassel trim at the bottom of the dress and the embroidered ruffles at the top. Made from 100% cotton, it is suitable for sensitive skin and perfect for the sunshine. The ‘Robyn’ dress will look beautiful teamed with a pair of sandals, I can’t wait to capture Mia in this dress on our summer adventures.

Our final pick was the blue ‘Cara dress. My favourite thing about this dress is the design, the doodle style print features dinosaurs, mopeds and rainbows which I love because it breaks the stereotype of dinosaurs and vehicles being ‘just for boys’. The dress also has plenty of sparkle with the addition of sequins and a sparkly elasticated waistband. It’s perfect for parties and passed Mia’s ‘twirl test’ with flying colours.

If you’re looking for stunning yet practical dresses for any occasion then be sure to check out the rest of the range from Monsoon at Debenhams.

Wow, Mia looks completely stunning in those outfits. We have the same with little button, in that she’s mad about dresses, pink and dressing up. I am loving the cara dress – the doodles look so fun and it’s not a typical girly dress either. Thanks so joining us for the #dreamteam xx
