BeWILDerwood is one of our favourite places to visit in Norfolk. It’s an amazing day out for the whole family full of mystical fun and adventure. There is no other adventure park quite like it. It’s hard not to be captivated by the magical atmosphere.
We had only visited BeWILDerwood once before, so we were incredibly excited when we were invited to visit again. We were just in time to participate in the BeWILDerwood summer event, Swampy’s Silly Summer Parade. Everything is included in the entry free including face painting, crafts and storytelling. Even an enchanted boat ride through the dismal dyke and den building is included. Onsite parking is free, and if you’re looking to save some pennies, you are more than welcome to bring along a picnic from home.
We hadn’t visited BeWILDerwood for just under two years. I was amazed at how much had changed in that time. Everything we loved on our previous visit remained with the addition of new attractions. The children loved the slippery slopes and wobbly wires which are perfect for slightly older thrill seeking children. BeWILDerwood offers a huge variety of play equipment which allows mums, dads, young children, older children and even grandparents to swing, slide and jump around.
During our visit we spotted a new attraction under construction so I am incredibly excited to see what that becomes!
If/when the children need a break from clambering around, head to the Big Hat which offers craft activities for all ages. The Munch Bar is positioned next to the Big Hat and offers a great range of hot and cold food and refreshments.
After four hours of magical fun and frolics at BeWILDerwood myself, my mum and the children were truly exhausted. We headed home before we had managed to visit the Big Hat or walk along the broken bridge. Despite the exhaustion we had an amazing time. The children had a wonderful day and I loved seeing them enjoy their visit.
