Simple Flower Crafts For Kids #BostikBlogger.

Long-term followers will know that I am a 2018 Bostik Blogger which means each month I will be sharing step-by-step craft tutorials using fantastic materials from Craft Merrily. Last month’s theme was flying, and we created peg planes and a simple hot air balloon.

The theme for April is flowers. It’s been particularly miserable weather here recently, despite the fact that we are now in Spring. Flower crafts seemed the perfect way to ease our April blues.

Below you will find two simple but very pretty flower crafts. These crafts will require a small amount of adult supervision with young children but are really quick and easy to make.

Flower hair-band.

You will need –

  • Felt/card flower shapes.
  • Ribbon.
  • Bostik Glu-Dots.

Simply place the ribbon on a flat surface, attach the felt/flower card shapes to the ribbon using the glu-dots and tie loosely around the hairline. Little ones will love this speedy spring make.

Simple fake flower.

You will need –

  • Coloured felt or card.
  • Fake petals or tissue paper.
  • A glue stick.
  • Bostik Glu-Dots.
  • Bendy wire or pipe cleaners.

Firstly, cut a medium-sized circle out of the coloured felt. Attach the fake petals to the back of the felt circle using the glue stick. Allow to dry for a few minutes before adding the bendy wire/pipe cleaner to the back of the flower using a glu-dot.

Voila! There you have it, a beautiful fake flower.
