Lenovo Ideapad 330 Platinum Grey Review.

The world of blogging and vlogging is a busy one, especially at this time of year. Technology is a huge part of my life. If I’m not typing up a blog post, I am editing photos and videos. I respond to emails several times a day and try to keep on top of all the paperwork that being self-employed brings. I rely on my iPhone, Sony camera and laptop on a daily basis. Recently AO got in touch and offered me the opportunity to review the Lenovo Ideapad 330 laptop. Over the past week or so, I’ve been putting it through its paces. I’m pleased to report that so far it has really impressed me.

I’m pretty clued up when it comes to technology, but I find the prospect of setting up a new laptop daunting. I needn’t have worried though as the Lenovo Ideapad 330 is incredibly easy to set up and use. Microsoft Windows 10 does most of the set up for you once you’ve entered your WiFi details.

One of the first things I noticed about this laptop was how quiet it was.

It’s also incredibly visually appealing. The exterior features a sleek platinum grey brushed metal effect design which has a special protective finish to guard against wear and tear. As soon as the laptop’s initial set up was complete, I downloaded all the programmes I needed for editing photos and videos. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast each programme downloaded.

There is plenty of storage available to store all of our family photos, work images and documents with 1TB of storage. And it’s all powered by an 8th gen Intel® Core™ i3 processor and 4GB of RAM. The Lenovo Ideapad 330 features a 17.3 inch screen with high-definition display (resolution 1600 x 900 pixels). As well as this, there is a 4-in-1 media card reader, 2 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB Type-C port and 1 HDMI port.

The built-in webcam, mic and audio sound system allows me to conduct Skype calls with ease, even when the Lenovo Ideapad 330 isn’t plugged into the mains. This laptop runs for up to 5.5 hours on battery if fully charged. Working on the go is a breeze, I can transport the laptop with ease as it weighs just 2.8kg.

The Lenovo Ideapad 330 has transformed my working day. At just £429, its ideal for those who work from home and are on a low-budget. I have really put this laptop through its paces and so far, it has performed well. If you are looking for a reliable laptop that doesn’t break the bank, this could be the laptop for you.

We were very kindly gifted the Lenovo Ideapad 330 in return for an honest review. All views and opinions are my own.
