Long-term followers will know that we have faced many health challenges with Theo since his birth five years ago.
His allergies, eczema and asthma are the reason I started blogging. I wanted to help others in a similar situation and I’m pleased to say I’ve managed to do just that.
Nutritionist Tamar Henry had a similar aim, after experiencing traumatic health difficulties with her own son, she wrote Nourish: The Modern Mothers Guide To Child Nutrition.
In the book, the mother of three tells us what she has learnt from her experiences. Nourish is an informative book for parents which focuses on five points that Tamar believes are vital to the success of your child’s nutrition and overall health.
Tamar takes a modern, holistic approach to child nutrition. She elaborates on the importance of nutrition and how it contributes to overall well-being.
I love that Tamar writes as one mother to another. Often I find books on child nutrition to be very matter of fact in a textbook style format. Tamar sympathises with the trials and tribulations of motherhood and her warm personality shines through.
The layout of the book is really easy to follow and provides lots of useful strategies, information and tips to aid you in your bid to change your child’s health. It really makes you think about child nutrition whilst reassuring you that you are not alone in wanting to change the nutritional habits of yourself and your family.
I have one copy of Nourish: The Modern Mothers Guide To Child Nutrition to give away to one lucky reader. Enter via the Gleam app below!
